What we do
IMAGERY
We design and pick images that are inclusive and representative of all members.
INFORMATION
We display information in a way that is accessible to all (eg. image description or “alt text” on photos, closed captions on videos, color contrast, accessible font size, etc).
SAFE SPACES
We strive to create safe spaces for discussion on relevant topics through supervision of social media engagement according to the social media guidelines (link text to this) and NYSAMT values (link text to this). Find more information here (link to DEI page)!
COMMUNICATION
We provide communication around events impacting music therapists in New York State, such as region-specific emergencies, NYSTF and LCAT coalition updates, etc.
SUPPORT
We are here to support music therapists through provision of resources.
